" Here we are talking about the mo.dig.liani from Turin, "modern digital italians"! They send us their interesting work. It is a three track demo of refined electro-pop, made around the beautiful singer's voice. The songs are arranged with extreme wealth and undeniable trade. The instrumental part plays well, alternating extremely frantic times with ethereal and suspended sounds. They suggest us an electronic music that give signs of having well known and interpretated the Lamb and Moloko's lesson, but also the last Meg's and the national Antonella Ruggero's from Matia Bazar.
In my opinion the lyrics are a little bit too much soft, in some passages maybe too much trendy-spatial, they are a little bit stereotyped. After all, a very good work, fresh and well made that personally I listened to various times, and that I feel to suggest to whom want to listen some sophisticated electronic music, but at the some time absolutely authentic. "

"Since a few months from their remix cd of classic brazilian songs, mo.dig.liani (Moderni digitali italiani) from Turin come back with a new cd of original songs. It is a cd with three songs that describe a bridge between the melodic italian tradition and the modern english elettronic-pop (Bjork). The positive impressions of the old bossa nova cd are now confirmed in thevery minded electronic-arrangements and in singer's crystalline voice, a voice capable to cover some inspiracions from Mina to Moloko, from the last Meg to Antonella Ruggero.
Generally this is an acceptable work, but with some indecisions in the compositions when the encounter of different inspiracion sources is perceived. We wait for new developments."

"No_Ctrl, with only three tracks, shows us the potentiality of a trio to give an ear to. The cd starts with the title-track "Non controllo", a song like Subsonica in the beat, but musical enough to enter immediately in the head: "Non controllo la tua assenza, e mi perdo in attese e dissonanze, non controllo i miei passi.../ Io prevedo il mio schianto, sciolta come cera sull'asfalto: sto perdendo l'equilibrio, le tue braccia non mi stringono... ed io scivolo". "In anima" try to humanize the cold electronic music: a national Bjork surrounded by lyrical voices, alone and in the oblivion. Without doubt the most interesting song is "Pulsar", eccentric, electronic, distorted, spatial, phagocyted and with childs' voices: "Obbiettivo uno: fallito". Good EP, fluctuating between hypnotic movements and electronic rhythms. Good inspiration, good interpretation, but more pump and energy didn't get spoil. We wait trustful their debut album, menwhile taking confort with an EP to be listen with the light s turned off."
